- Take a bowl and mix besan,curd,ginger- garlic paste, haldi, heeng, salt, sugar and water together.
- Make smooth(runny) paste with no lumps in it. Now take a pan and pour the smooth paste in it, turn on the flame on low to medium and stir it regularly.
- Cook until it's thick (keep stirring)
- Once it done grease the surface of thali/plate/dish with oil and make a thin layer.
- Spread layer of grated fresh coconut on it and Let it set.
- Now cut and roll the khandavi's.
- For tadka, take a pan and heat up the1 tsp oil in it and then add 1tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp white sesame seeds along with curry leaves. Tadka is ready to pour on all the khandavi's.
