  7. Make ready 2 tsp crushed black pepper

  1. Wash poha and then soak in water for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, squeeze the water and transfer the poha to mixing bowl.
  2. Boil the potatoes and mash them using fork. Keep aside
  3. Now in the mixing bowl, along with poha add mashed potato, salt, oregano, crushed black pepper, grated cheese. Mix well.
  4. Now take a lemon sized portion on pulm. Make a dent, now fill with cheese cube. Then cover it and give a round ball shape.
  5. Now prepare a semi thick maida batter by mixing maida with water. And then dip the poha croquette into the maida batter. Cover all sides. Now coat with bread crumbs.
  6. Prepare all the croquettes similar way and keep them in freezer for atleast 1 hour before deep frying.
  7. After 1 hour, take out from freezer or you may take out before frying them. Deep fry them until golden brown, then serve with tomato ketchup.
