- Take 6 Raw Bananas. Boil them with 1 whistle at high flame and simmer for 5 minutes at low flame.
- After cooling down, peel and mash. Add rolled oats to it.
- Add all the spices- salt, red chilli, ginger powder, cumin seed powder, chaat masala, Cornflour, salt. Mix everything nicely.
- Wet your palm with water. Roll the material in ball shape and gently press it into tikki shape as shown in image.
- This quantity will make 8 tikkis. Set in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Heat Ghee and fry tikkis until golden brown from both sides. You can choose to cook on tawa too. Use ghee only for best flavour.
- Tastes best when accompanied with curd, imli (tamarind)Chutney and green chutney with roasted cumin seed powder as a sprinkler.
