  2. Boil the rice. Drain. Each grain of the rice should be separate. Keep aside.
  3. For the saag
  4. Separate the saag leaves from the stem. Give a thorough wash & chop them.
  5. Heat mustard oil in a pan. Add jeera & splutter a little, followed by whole red chilli & bay leaf.
  6. Add crushed garlic & onions & saute for 2 mins.
  7. Add the saag, salt & stir well. Cover with a lid & cook on slow flame.
  8. Open the lid after 5 mins. & cook till the water of the saag evaporates. Switch of the flame.
  9. Add warm rice gently & give a thorough mix.
  10. Serve hot with lime & green chilli.
