- Sprinkle black pepper powder and red chilli powder on top.
- Keep the thali in steamer and steam for 8 to 10. Check by inserting knife or tooth pick. If it comes out clean, then it's done.
- Remove thali from the steamer and allow it to cool down to room temperature. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve with green chutney.
