- Prepare 3 cup pre boiled rice
- Take 1 cup urad dal
- Make ready 2 tsp ginger chilli paste

- Soak 3 cups rice 1 cup urad dal for 4 hours, then grind separately.
- Mix well rice,daal, 4 spoon oil and ¼ tsp salt.Keep for 7-8 hours for fermentation. Add ginger chilli paste, salt, 1/4 tsp baking soda &oil. - Pour 4 laddle batter into greased thali, sprinkle crushed pepper on it and steam for 15 to 20 minutes. Now steam idada is ready.
- In a hot grilled pan add butter, sprinkle some mix hearbs. Then add idada on it and apply butter on top & mix hearbs and grill it on both sides. After completing then transfer in to a serving plate.
- Grilled idada served with green chutney.
